Stringer Property Group is proud to showcase one of our recent renovation projects. We were entrusted by the owners of this split-level city center penthouse to design and oversee a complete renovation and modernization of the property, as well as furnish the home.

Project Brief

Our objective was to make the property not only visually appealing but also to maximize the available living and storage spaces. Additionally, we aimed to properly weatherproof the property and install efficient heating and cooling systems. The project was meticulously presented to the client through detailed plans, 3D perspectives, and a fully itemized project briefing, schedule, and quotations.

Design Inspiration

The clients expressed a strong interest in Classical English and Country/Farmhouse finishes, but they were also keen on incorporating Modern elements into their home. Drawing inspiration from New England/Maine and Contemporary designs, we carefully blended these diverse styles to create a unique and harmonious aesthetic. The result was exceptional, achieving a delicate balance that was very well received by the clients.

Renovation Details

The property underwent an extensive renovation with no expense spared. Using only the finest tradesmen and materials, we ensured that the project was completed to a superior standard, making this penthouse truly ”one of a kind.” The renovation process involved completely rebuilding the property from the ground up. The structure was stripped down to brickwork and concrete, with all plumbing, electrical systems, and infrastructures removed, updated, and reinstalled. The entire property was re-floored, re-plastered, smooth skimmed, and painted.

Externally, heat retention and reflection cladding were installed, along with a state-of-the-art, electric-driven heat pump system that provides instant hot water and underfloor central heating throughout the two-story home.

High-Quality Finishes

Bathrooms: Italian ceramics and Turkish marble were used to decorate the property’s three bathrooms.

Kitchen: German Oak was imported for the custom handmade kitchen.

Staircase: A purpose-built, illuminated floating staircase was a standout feature.
